You're thinking way too into it for the most part people who know Teton. Already know what they're about. But one thing I've noticed that's kind of getting annoying. Is you repeating yourself and saying the same thing in the same video 6 or 7 times I don't know if you do this to make your video a little longer.

Everyone packs differently. I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail over 40 years, finishing in the fall of 2022. In 2023, I attempted a northbound thruhike. I used a frameless backpack and slept in a hammock with a tarp and separate bug net. My hammock, sleeping bag and bug net all went into the bottom of my pack with my sleep clothes. My "warm clothes" went somewhere above that in a stuff sack. Depending upon the likelihood of cold weather they were either lower or higher in my pack. My electronics and medical supplies were near the top, usually under my cookset and food, which were stored in a sack designed to be hung from a tree or stored in a bear box, if available. All of these rode inside a waterproof pack liner, with just enough room on top of the roll-down top closure, and under the roll-top pack closure for raingear. My tarp always rode in the mesh pocket on the back of my pack to drain and dry, along with a bug suit treated with Permethrin, my ground sheet, and my water filter and bag. I carried a plastic peanut jar with a hose and bite valve in a shoulder strap pocket for ready access to drinking water, and a small bush knife in a sheath on my sternum strap. Snacks went into one hip belt pocket, and TP and sanitizer in the other. Side pockets held my potty trowel, extra water bottle, sunscreen, and, early on, a modified titanium wood burning stove. The pack weight with water and food only exceed 25-30 pounds when I pickup up my travel guitar in Irwin. I carried it to Stanimal's in Glasgow, where I skipped the middle miles, starting out after my birthday, in northern Massachusetts, before injuring my knee in New Hampshire and going home to get an MRI, which showed a double tear in the meniscus. I am now two months into breaking in my new knee, and planning my next thruhike attempt. I turned 70 last July. "Tinker" half way, 2023. P.S. If you want your frameless pack to be more comfortable, try lining the circumference of it with a closed-cell foam sleeping pad cut to the circumference of the pack. Put it in vertically, and stuff your gear into it. Your pack will carry like it has a frame, and you will have a torso length sleep pad (or large sit pad for camp).

Face it. Amazon is the cheapest, they have everything, and the minute you get it in your head you want something, you can tap your phone a few times and it shows up on your door in a day or two. Nobody can compete with that. REI isn’t even trying though.

how you have items stored in the pack is important as well. you have a good system of keeping titems in seprate bags that can be taken out as needed. stuffing clothes, etc down into a pack is a bad idea. that's why God invented zip lock bags. also, seperate bags for differnt clothing items. socks and underwer together, shirts seperate, etc. you also want to keep the outside of the pack as slick as possible. less likely for mother nature to take things if you have to break brush.

I don't like the tent inside the pack. Seems like every video i see never has food for a trip. Im old school i carry a water blader. I don't believe in finding water when i get there. Probably why iv never gotten sick hiking. I also don't like gas stoves. I carry alcohol and a twig titanium stove. I just don't understand putting a wet tent in with my gear.

Luke.....From the beginning forest look's nice until I seen the dead branches my thoughts were going wild already and the next thing here comes the fog and that did it. I imagined all sorts of spooky things. Then you talked about camping alone and face your fears. You hit it on the nose. I started to get chicken skin ( goosebumps ) lol. The forest was extra quiet and I thought something was going to jump out and it got foggy more and in a flash darkness came. Just like I was there and hair behind my neck stood up and started to sweat. This really felt spooky. Thank goodness you were going to sleep lol.But in the end I enjoyed your adventure and got spooked at the same time. Stay Safe And Healthy ALOHA From Hawaii ❤❤❤❤❤

Lot of dumb woke/broke fantasies here-ReI was never a hub for firearms enthusiasts. As a long time member and someone who used to work at REI, the decision to give over a lot of space to very high-priced impractical gear that has very little to do with traditional outdoor activities was kind of a signal something was wrong-I still remember partners grumbling about Yeti products that were not only unaffordable for most hiking/climbing/camping/riding folks-but also out of place in a coop filled with fairly serious outdoors people.

Most pros carry with them what they have in their pockets. The forest and surrounding areas is our playground. Everything needed to survive is all around.
